Experience multiple worlds in a boundary-pushing co-op action adventure.
From the inventive minds behind the award-winning It Takes Two comes an original and completely unpredictable new co-op action adventure.
In Split Fiction, you and your co-op partner will become Mio and Zoe, two writers trapped in a simulation of their own imaginations after a high-tech attempt to steal their creative ideas goes badly wrong. This pair of strangers will need to learn to work together in order to escape with their memories and stories intact. Prepare to deal with dragons and trolls in Zoe's fantasy worlds and cyber ninjas and robo-parking attendants in Mio's sci-fi creations.
Together, you'll need to overcome any obstacle thrown your way to make it through this weird, wild and wholly unexpected tale of friendship.
Hazelight's mission to craft unique and memorable co-op experiences continues in this split-screen adventure. Work with a partner, coordinating your actions to overcome challenges — even if they're on another platform. WIth the Friend's Pass* you can invite a friend on another supported console or PC to join you for free.
Each level of your adventure alternates between Zoe's fantasy settings and Mio's sci-fi worlds. Escape a sun that’s going supernova, take on a monkey in a dance battle, battle a bad kitty and ride everything from gravity bikes to a sandshark. Every world brings a new look to admire, new game styles to enjoy and new mechanics and abilities to master.
Starting out as strangers, Mio and Zoe's personalities clash; but they'll soon need to overcome their differences in order to escape their bizarre prison. As the products of their own imaginations throw unexpected challenges at them, they'll need to have each other's backs and take on everything together.

This game is so damn good, The settings are so atmospheric like it’s something you actually being in the world. The character design are so well done. The main characters are super well written, with each having a different personality than the other person. The soundtrack is something of a masterpiece the way it fits in with scene, world, etc. This game is a bit more on the hardcore side. But I’m like at the second chapter and this game is a 10/10 a most definite recommendation to pick up the game and play it with a fellow gamer friend or someone. Hazelight is a developer that needs to be protected in the video game market.
